The relationship between psychiatric inpatient length of stay and suicide prevention

Suicide prevention remains a critical concern within mental health care, particularly for individuals with psychiatric disorders. The paper concludes that an effective approach to suicide prevention should focus on tailored admission lengths, high-quality care, and seamless transitions to community support, rather than solely on extending lengths of stay.
